Keep this table open when a building is on your cursor. Every row is a public role from the 0.6.0 or 1.0 notes, not a guessed percentage. For prose, use Building Synergies. For the dictionary, use the building list. For ranks, use the building tier list.
How to use it: find the building you are about to place, read the Nearby needs column, and only click if those needs are already on the tiles. If the needs are missing, place the fuel first. If Cloning is active, copy a row whose nearby needs are already satisfied.
Planner table
| Building | Nearby needs | Produces or grants | Caution |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rock | Empty claimed tile | Stones | Fuel for Quarry. Place several before the amplifier. |
| Obsidian | Empty claimed tile | Stones (SUPER rock) | Spend it in the cluster you will actually quarry. |
| Quarry | Rocks / Obsidian around it | A lot of stones | Useless on empty grass. Demo quests once skipped a second quarry. |
| Cottage | A ring of empty tiles | Tree and wheat fields (no direct income) | Faces ocean waste fields. Seed for Lumbermill. |
| Lumbermill | Trees around it | A lot of wood | Plant with Cottage first. Jungle supercharges trees. |
| Manor | Other manors around it | A lot of coins | One manor is a seed. Three is the engine. |
| Guild Hall | A dense producer cluster | Auto-clicks around itself | Do not park it on empty Watch tower land. |
| Watch tower | Room for a huge claim | Land only | Not income. Use when space is the bottleneck. |
| Tower | Stone banquet/totem line | A lot of stars | Not a Watch tower. No resource production. |
| Castle | Coin banquet/totem line plus clickable producers | Stars and SUPER click propagation | Early Castle on a bare island is vanity. |
| Portal | A finished island | Ultimate building (details in-client) | 1.0 note does not explain it. Hover before planning. |
| Windmill | Space for its range | Confirm in tooltip | Only public extra is the Windmill range chest node. |
| Banquet / Totem | Matching landmark | Landmark sink | Stones with Tower, coins with Castle. |
Filters you can do with your eyes
- I need stones: Rock, Obsidian, then Quarry.
- I need wood: Cottage, then Lumbermill, optional Jungle chest.
- I need coins: Manor next to manors.
- I need land: Watch tower, or Multi Claim on the Skill Planner.
- I need stars: Tower or Castle, after an industry exists.
- My hand hurts: Guild Hall, later Castle, plus the 0.6.0 auto-click buff.
Cloning and Tempest
During Cloning, prefer rows that already have their nearby needs met. A cloned quarry in a rock field is a win. A cloned Watch tower is just more empty park.
During Tempest, this table becomes a rebuild order: fuel, amplifier, click coverage, land, stars. That is the same order as How to Play. Read chest events before you accept the storm.
What this planner refuses to do
It will not output a gold-per-second number. It will not mark a “best island seed.” It will not tell you the Portal puzzle. Those belong in the client or in a future official note. When a patch changes a sentence, Patch 1.0 and newer Steam news win.
If you are expanding and only need the land tools explained in paragraphs, switch to How to Expand Your Island. If you are about to farewell because the table looks bad, switch to How to Farewell — a weak island is often a placement issue, not a prestige issue.
Print this page or leave it on a second monitor. That is the whole product.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Farewells Clicker questions.
Why are there no percentage bonuses in the table?
Official notes describe dependencies, not public coefficients. Detailed mode shows the live values.
Which row should I clone?
Clone an amplifier that already has fuel: Quarry on rocks, Lumbermill on trees, extra Manor on manors, Guild Hall on a dense field.
Where is the Watch tower income?
There is none in the 0.6.0 text. It only claims land.
Is this tool updated for 1.0?
Yes. Rows use the 1.0 building list plus the 0.6.0 Next Fest helpers.
